What is CMS
The electronic rearview mirror is a system composed of a camera and a monitor. It is necessary to see the rear and side vision of the vehicle clearly within the specified field of view. It is a new indirect vision device. Called as “camera-monitor system”, referred to as CMS.
Compared with traditional side glass mirrors, the advantages of CMS are,
- Super wider vision
- Reduce blind areas of vision a lot
- Automatic light compensation, to have more clear view
- Little impact caused by environment, such as bad weather , rain or snow
- Reduce wind resistance and wind noise effectively
